This silver ring is encircled with the mantra Om Mani Padme Hum in brass. It is about 1/4 of an inch wide. On either side of the mantra is a stone in your choice of turquoise, lapis, or coral.

Om Mani Padme Hum, meaning the Jewel Within the Lotus, is the mantra of Avalokiteshvara, the embodiment of universal compassion. It is said to contain the entire path to enlightenment within it's syllables. The mantra helps the one who repeats it to achieve a deeper connection with their own divine consciousness. And to help the wearer in their daily repetition of the mantra, this ring gently spins around with the aid of the stones on either side. The wide band in the middle turns freely within the two thinner bands on either side. Ingenious and very practical design!
